Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We sure did! I decided after much contemplation to get Josh a puppy for Christmas! It was seriously the hardest decision because puppies are such a long term commitment. But the moment I saw him it was over, there was no turning back he was way too cute. I had decided to get a puppy about three weeks before Christmas and we didn't actually get him until the Tuesday before so I was really worried I wasn't going to have him in time. But he got here and the pet store kept him for us until Christmas morning at six am. We slept over at my moms house Christmas Eve and she went and picked him up and then put him in my beautifully wrapped box if I do say so myself and then brought him in to Josh. When she handed him the box all he could say was," No way you got me a puppy!" He was so surprised he had no idea, and he said I played it off really well because he was convinced there was no way we would ever get a puppy. So I was pretty excited it was pretty much the best gift ever I don't know how I'm going to top that one. And I think I won the Best Wife of the Year Award sorry ladies maybe next year ha ha. But he is just a little bundle of joy! I just can't stop looking at him. He likes to chew on everything! I'm hoping he is just teething and that that will pass otherwise he is going to be in trouble. We still haven't quite decided on a name it has been the biggest ordeal, it's like naming a child but harder because you don't have nine months to think about it. But we are having a blast with our new little famiy member you all need to come see him he is awesome! Happy Holidays everyone! We love you all and wish you all the best with this upcoming year!

Christmas Eve 08
This was Christmas Eve at the Poulsen's house. We had our big favorites dinner which was delicious and then all our nieces and nephews acted out the Nativity Story which was so cute. Jillee was Mary, Kinslee was Joseph, (thats who she wanted to be), and the Ariel doll was baby Jesus. Clarky was our shepherd boy and Brooklynn was the angel. Then the three oldest boys were the wise men. We tried to get the twins to be the sheep but they would not stay on all fours long enough ha ha. It was so cute, they are all such good little actors. Oh and Josh of course was our Inn Keeper we made sure he practiced his lines, "There's no room in the Inn," several times so he wouldn't ruin the story ha ha. After that we all exchanged gifts and put our new Christmas jammies on. Julee made her families jammies and they looked like they should be in a Christmas movie they were so cute. Casey and Nicole got to spend the holidays with us because they were unable to get up to Idaho due to the weather and we were so grateful to have them there. It was a way fun night.

Lights at Temple Square
Last Saturday the 13th we all went down town to see the lights. It just isn't Christmas if you don't go to see the lights. I was having so much fun with my camera. I got some great shots of the temple it is so beautiful I can't even stand it. I have seen it over and over again my entire life and it just never gets old it is amazing. It was also amazingly cold ha ha that was the day it decided to snow all day and of course you would know that was the night we would pick to go see the lights! But we had a blast and I could have sat there and taken pictures of it all night! But these are just a few of my favorites.

Oh and of course Andy the "hot soccer player" he joined us for our party too thanks to Josh. Dustee loved her poster it was hilarious! And thanks again Car for my shirt I love it!
